Ella and Charlie’s Wedding at the Crab and Lobster

After meeting Australian Charlie whilst working on a Ski resort in the Alps, Ella decided to leave her family behind in England and move to the other side of the world to pursue the relationship. And is flourished! On the 14th Julys 2022, Ella and Charlie got married, and I had the privilege of capturing the special day.

It was a warm summers day set in the beautiful area of Asenby, with the ceremony taking place in the quiant village of Copt Hewick, and the rest of the day at Crab Manor.

After the ceremony, Ella and Charlie walked to Ella’s nana’s with three feisty alpaca’s, where there was champagne, and an ice cream van waiting for them. Was a nice touch to be able to mingle in a beautiful English country garden.

After which to was off to the beautiful Grade II Listed 18th Century Georgian Manor House - Crab Manor -for canapés and more champagne, before heading to the restaurant for the wedding breakfast.

It was an amazing day watching the two families and cultures come together. Charlie’s family originated from England, so both families had links to each other in wonderful ways. The weather was warm, but then so to was the atmosphere of the day, filled with chatter, laughter, tears, and unbridled joy.
